We're seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Unity Health Network's Stow location. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to high-quality care delivery.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient well-being while working alongside physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling appointments and handling prior authorizations, medication refills, referrals, and patient calls
  • Performing Clinical Intake with patients, including vital sign recordings and patient history
  • Assisting patients with walking, transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation as needed
  • Maintaining clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage of biohazards
  • Cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits for infection control
  • Supporting providers with minor in-office procedures and conducting point-of-care testing

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent adult education program completion
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification
  • CPR/BLS certification

Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience with electronic medical records software, as well as proficiency in medical back office and front office tasks.

**Salary:** $54,000 - $60,000 per year (estimated)
