Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II ICU to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the ICU, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, utilizing your critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and provide timely interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit goals and performance improvement activities, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
