Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Emergency Room team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
