Job Opportunity:
Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks a Primary Care and Hospital Medicine Physician to perform comprehensive assessments, treatment, and symptom and disease management of adult outpatients and inpatients.
The ideal candidate will provide patient and family education and support, document patient information in the electronic patient record, and participate in quality improvement and practice development programs.
The physician will work with Emergency Department physicians and other specialty services to ensure effective communication and transition of patients to optimize their care.
The minimum requirements for the position are a U.S. M.D. or D.O. degree, completion of a three-year residency training program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, board eligibility for or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
