Job Summary

The Regional Commercial Relationship Manager is a key role at Northwest Bank, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to provide tailored banking solutions that meet their financial needs. This position requires a deep understanding of commercial lending, risk management, and credit analysis, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand existing commercial banking relationships through proactive outreach and engagement
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and successfully bring in new relationships to Northwest
  • Collaborate with product partners to discuss cross-selling opportunities and referrals to deepen client relationships
  • Meet and exceed budget goals as assigned individually and by region
  • Participate in community and professional networking events to establish and maintain relationships
  • Develop and maintain a prospect list and calling schedule to stay top of mind with clients and prospects
  • Encourage existing clients to provide referrals and maintain their personal banking at Northwest
  • Manage a commercial loan portfolio, including credit and non-credit clients, and make loan presentations and recommendations as needed
  • Partner with credit and portfolio management to ensure timely annual reviews and line of credit renewals
  • Ensure non-credit clients have appropriate treasury management and other related commercial services, and risk ratings are accurate
  • Collect on delinquent accounts and analyze financial statements to assess risk and client performance
  • Complete loan closings in partnership with Portfolio Management and ensure all credit files are up-to-date
  • Participate in continued sales, product, and credit training to stay current on industry developments and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing
  • 6-8 years of account relationship management experience, with a strong track record of delivering sales performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial lending, risk management, and credit analysis
  • Strong negotiation skills, including loan structure and pricing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities
What We Offer
