Position Overview: As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at Facility NorDx, you will:

  • Conduct and oversee laboratory analyses of patient samples in accordance with established protocols and compliance standards.
  • Analyze, interpret, and document both standard and atypical patient findings.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical, instrumental, or physiological issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure precision, quality assurance, and necessary equipment upkeep.
  • Facilitate training for laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals as required.

Essential Qualifications:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field is mandatory.

Certifications: Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent) or as a categorical technologist from a recognized professional body (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is essential within the initial months of employment.

Experience: Not applicable.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, and the ability to travel between company locations as necessary is required.

Additional Educational Requirement: An Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is also acceptable.

Certification Requirement: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASCP/AMT) is required within the first six months of employment.

Willingness to work on different shifts, including holidays and weekends, and to travel among company sites as needed is essential.
