Role Overview: The User Experience Architect at Mgdezine plays a pivotal role in crafting innovative strategies aimed at enhancing the overall User Experience for our clientele. This position is essential in ensuring that the customer journey is not only accessible but also user-friendly and dependable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various business units, external stakeholders, and development teams to identify and articulate UX enhancements for our online presence.
  • Engage in Agile methodologies, advocating for user-centric solutions while partnering with Product Managers to align features with user requirements.
  • Develop visual representations such as sketches, journey maps, storyboards, and user flows to effectively convey design concepts and interactions.
  • Prepare comprehensive UX documentation, including navigational flows, clickable prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, use cases, and task flows for the development team.
  • Design the user experience and information architecture for digital platforms, outlining functionality, navigation, and interaction models through detailed wireframes and site maps.
  • Create both low and high-fidelity prototypes to illustrate micro-interactions and user engagement.
  • Document and articulate complex, data-driven experiences with a strong focus on detail.
  • Lead brainstorming and sketching sessions, fostering collaboration among product teams.
  • Work closely with other UX professionals and stakeholders to design solutions that meet both user and business needs while considering technical aspects.
  • Solicit and provide constructive UX feedback among peers.
  • Participate in usability testing and analytics to gain insights into target audience needs and objectives.
  • Gather and implement UX feedback from users, managing adjustments to deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and promote design standards, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Mentor team members in developing superior UX designs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in user experience architecture.
  • A portfolio showcasing the ability to create clear and effective wireframes and user experiences.
  • Proven expertise in documenting intricate, data-driven designs.
  • Extensive experience with tools such as Visio, Sketch, Lunacy, InVision, or similar for user interface documentation.
  • Strong background in developing interface mock-ups and annotated wireframes.
  • Solid grasp of UX principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile environments is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend complex systems and large datasets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and their implications.
  • History of defining application functionalities and creating interfaces without explicit business requirements.
  • Proficiency in information organization and user interface design principles.
