Customer Service Representative Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Great Lakes Ace Hardware, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $24,960 based on an 20-hour workweek and $12 per hour. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role:

  1. Greet all customers and assist in answering questions about merchandise; use The S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers find everything on their lists.
  2. Aid customers in locating merchandising in store, on acehardware.com, as well as, processing special orders.
  3. Displays, stocks and maintains merchandise on end caps, shelves, counters or tables following company plan-o-gram, building displays when necessary to attract customers and promote sales within specified guidelines by your management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains familiarity with all ads, rebates and special pricing; reports pricing errors to management.
  • Answers telephones and refers all calls to proper department through the use of the paging system and two way radios.
  • Collect carts; carry merchandise out to customer cars if needed.
