Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive environmental engineering assessments and design initiatives, focusing on planning, site investigations, and remediation strategies.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication with clients and regulatory bodies regarding design submissions.
- Oversee site investigations to accurately document existing conditions.
- Lead the development of project plans, design calculations, and specifications, ensuring quality and compliance with engineering standards.
- Review and finalize planning documents and assist in the creation of bid packages and technical specifications.
- Address technical and contractual challenges throughout project lifecycles.
- Apply a diverse range of technical and project management skills to projects of varying scales.
- Engage with current clients to broaden service offerings and attract new clientele.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services.
- Represent the firm at industry events and business development functions.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering or Consulting.
- New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification is advantageous.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and scientists.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and hazardous materials management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
