Group: Bridge

Position: Project Engineer

Location: Indianapolis

Our Bridge division is in search of a qualified professional to become part of a dynamic and diverse team that specializes in designing large-scale bridge projects across various markets. This fast-paced and stimulating role offers a chance to gain hands-on experience while contributing to some of the most notable bridge projects in the region.

We are looking for a seasoned engineer eager to take on the role of lead structural engineer within our Indiana Bridge Group. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a growing team, contributing to bridge design and providing mentorship to junior staff members. The ideal candidate is self-driven with a robust technical foundation. Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective client engagement and career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs of new bridges utilizing pre-stressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and timber components.
  • Prepare project cost estimates.
  • Develop project plans.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer License in Indiana.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microstation is preferred.
