Position Overview

AECOM is currently seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our team.

The responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting structural analysis and contributing to the preparation of design calculations.
  • Assisting in the development of structural details and construction documentation.
  • Preparing geometric layouts, specifications, and material quantity assessments.
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support a variety of projects.
  • Innovating solutions to address complex client challenges with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Upholding ethical standards and integrity in all professional dealings.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialization in bridge or structural engineering.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in diverse teams to achieve technical excellence.
  • Proficient technical and communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with relevant design standards and software tools.
  • Progress towards obtaining professional licensure.
