Job Title: Shop Leader Mechanic 2nd and 3rd Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Leader Mechanic to join our team at The H&K Group, Inc. This is a full-time position working 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Summary:

The Shop Leader Mechanic will be responsible for leading a team of mechanics in the proper repair and servicing of all company-owned assets, including electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Assign tasks to mechanics and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Communicate with supervisors and operations personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within one year
  • Clean driving record
  • State Inspection License
  • Ability to work a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule
