About the Role

This is a challenging position on the Workforce Strategy and Planning team at Walmart, designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has a keen interest in data analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of workforce planning models by collaborating with senior team members to create and enhance Excel-based workforce planning, forecasting, and optimization models.
  • Support organizational design initiatives by gathering and analyzing internal and external data and providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of workforce strategies and plans by partnering with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, validate workforce strategies, and align plans with enterprise objectives.
  • Evaluate initiatives for return on investment and potential outcomes and work on improving the accuracy of workforce forecasting for the annual operating plan.

Education and Training

Walmart offers a paid education benefit program, Live Better U, for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
