About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our Pharmacy Operations Excellence team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for our pharmacy fulfillment center network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the network to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Partner with operational leaders to execute implementation of process improvements, driving stabilization and standardization across the network
  • Provide feedback to design engineers based on implemented process improvements and other tests to improve the design of future pharmacy fulfillment centers
  • Deliver coaching and process path information across the network of operational leaders to support reduction of variation in process standards and knowledge gaps
  • Identify, explore, evaluate, justify, and realize solutions that add value by improving output quality, throughput rates, capacity, system utilization, and reduction of waste
  • Develop cross-functional knowledge of pharmacy operations systems, processes, procedures, and tools
About the Team

The Pharmacy Operations Excellence team is a support team for Fulfillment Operations, owning the design of our pharmacy fulfillment centers and acting as subject matter experts on pharmacy automation equipment and fulfillment process.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
  • 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
  • Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
  • Experience in Logistics, Distribution, or Fulfillment processes
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to facilities throughout North America
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineer tools
  • Experience working under pressure in a cross-functional organization
  • Experience with simulation and 3D modeling software
  • Experience with benchmarking technical equipment and metrics
