Customer Service Role at Walgreens

As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. This includes greeting customers, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Register sales on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
  • Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
  • Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
  • Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
  • Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.

Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
