This opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating engaging experiences for individuals in long-term care. As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and organizing programs, activities, and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement programs, activities, and events that promote physical, cognitive, social, and creative well-being
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a seamless experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and inclusive environment
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to promote activities and events
- Conduct needs assessments to determine appropriate activity levels
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
