Activities Assistant Residence at Kenilworth Park Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Activities Assistant Residence at Kenilworth Park Coordinator to lead assigned programs that enhance the lives of our residents. This role involves developing and implementing recreational activities, ensuring resident participation, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned Activity programs, offering diverse and engaging experiences for residents.
- Develop programs tailored to meet the needs and interests of our residents, including those confined to their rooms.
- Engage and motivate residents, resulting in high program participation rates.
- Inform residents about upcoming events and maintain a current schedule of activities on the community bulletin board.
- Greet new residents, making a special effort to include them in activities and introduce them to others with similar interests.
- Assist in planning parties, activities, and decorating the community according to seasons and holidays.
- Cover reception duties as needed.
- Maintain records of all activities, resident participation levels, and acceptance of each activity, as required by state law.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to enlist volunteer support for the activities program.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; three to six months related experience and/or training; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Able to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Valid Driver's License and comfort driving company vehicles.
- Preferred experience in Senior Living Activities Departments.
Physical Demands:
- Physically able to move at least 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to bend, reach, and work in confined areas.
- Capable of pushing and pulling equipment and furnishings.
- Can stand for extended periods.
Compensation:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on location and experience, plus benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Home and Auto Discount program, Vendor Discount Program, 401(k) with matching contribution, Accrued Vacation, Sick, and Personal time, Paid Holiday Benefit, Employee referral bonus, and Resident referral bonus.
