We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Heartis Venice, a luxurious senior living community in Florida. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their taste buds are delighted.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing meals in a safe and appetizing manner, following dietary standards and food-related policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring inventory and maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
  • Supervising servers in the absence of the Food & Beverage Director and ensuring that resident diets are being followed.
  • Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director any loss, breakage, or waste of supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Serv Safe Certification required.
  • Knowledge of cooking times and temperatures essential in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary.
