Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up the kitchen and preparation stations to ensure smooth daily operations and successful catering events.
• Skillfully prepare components of each dish by chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and preparing sauces with precision.
• Follow instructions from the Executive/Head Chef, particularly for catered events where presentation is key.
• Maintain the highest standards in food preparation, storage, and safety.
• Take pride in plate presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing for both restaurant service and catered events.
• Support in maintaining a clean kitchen environment, managing leftovers, and keeping prep areas tidy.
• Cook menu items with the assistance and collaboration of the kitchen staff, ensuring quality and consistency across all dining experiences.
