- Assist in evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance the WebSphere infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a WebSphere Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WebSphere application server software.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of WebSphere infrastructure.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures for WebSphere.
- Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts for WebSphere administration tasks.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures for WebSphere environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Solid understanding of capacity planning and upgrade projects for WebSphere infrastructure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with development and IT teams.
- Prior experience in documenting procedures, configurations, and changes in WebSphere environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of WebSphere technology and industry best practices.

- Certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server are a plus.
