  • Participate in on-call support and be ready to address critical issues outside of business hours.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance the WebSphere infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a WebSphere Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WebSphere application server software.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of WebSphere infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures for WebSphere.
  • Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts for WebSphere administration tasks.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures for WebSphere environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Solid understanding of capacity planning and upgrade projects for WebSphere infrastructure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with development and IT teams.
  • Prior experience in documenting procedures, configurations, and changes in WebSphere environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of WebSphere technology and industry best practices.
  • Ability to provide on-call support and address critical issues outside of regular business hours.
  • Certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server are a plus.
