Job Description:

The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, administer medications and therapies, and educate patients and families about treatment options and side effects. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
  • Administer medications, blood products, and other therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient response to treatments, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and lab results.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited program for professional nursing education (BSN preferred).
  • Current RN state license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 0-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an oncology or hematology setting.

Estimated Salary:** $95,000 per year, based on experience.
