Job Summary

The Hospitality Associate plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service at Northern Light Health. This position requires a customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a team environment to ensure patients receive healthy, nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and deliver meal trays to patients in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to time and temperature standards.
  • Enter patient menu preferences, food allergies, and other pertinent information into Computrition to ensure patient safety and meal satisfaction.
  • Use Cerner and Computrition to ensure accuracy in diet orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Work safely and follow all safety policies, including proper hand hygiene and reporting incidents or hazards immediately.
  • Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures, discard outdated food items, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Proactively resolve food service-related issues and respond to communications in a timely manner.
  • Participate in skills training opportunities and continually develop skills and job knowledge to improve patient care and service.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working as a member of a team in a customer service setting is required.
  • Must be customer service oriented, pleasant, and outgoing.
  • Must be comfortable using computers and software programs.
  • Competencies and skills include Behaving with Integrity and Building Trust, Cultivating Respect, Fostering Accountability, and Practicing Compassion.
Working Conditions

This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
