Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Bauer Foundation Corp Careers. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of our construction projects located within the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of site staff, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Communicate and enforce safety procedures and site rules to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance against plans, specifications, and work instructions, and report any deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure on-time and within-budget completion of projects, and manage quality control, statutory documentation, and compliance with quality, safety standards, and contract conditions.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational, supervisory, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
  • High-caliber team player with a customer-oriented approach, flexible, open-minded, and prepared to adapt to other cultures.
  • Ability to foster a team environment and identify problems with solution ideas and advice.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in foundations and ground engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated work experience as a superintendent on special foundation construction sites or adequate combination of education, training, and experience.
