Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on the acceptance of project milestones

  • Keep detailed inspection records
  • Assess construction plans for compliance
  • Support departmental operations through consistent attendance
  • Maintain a mobile device for official use
  • Exhibit courteous conduct with the public and departmental staff

Required Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; experience in general construction inspection or relevant technical training is preferred.

Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to read engineering plans and construction specifications
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing construction projects
  • Understanding of safety measures for construction environments
  • Proficiency in inspection methods for infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of materials and tools utilized in public works initiatives
