Cancer Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology, with a strong background in DNA cloning, immunostaining, and viruses. Experience in mouse breeding and tumor studies is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate with excellent verbal and written scientific communication skills, who can design and perform experiments, analyze and interpret data, and maintain detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in cancer molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and/or pharmacology is highly desirable. The ability to write proposals and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications is also an asset.
