Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate within OSHA Standards and Company Safety Policies: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on all equipment, based on the manufacturer's recommendations and operating manuals.
  • Inspect and Repair Apartment Units and Common Areas: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for regularly inspecting all apartment units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance in accordance with procedures manual.
  • Maintain Grounds and Amenities: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and amenities, including pools, spas, ponds, fitness equipment, and other facilities.
  • Provide Training and Support: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing training and support to other team members as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for communicating effectively with co-workers, residents, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: The Maintenance Technician must have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of Property HVAC Units: The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of property HVAC units and be able to troubleshoot units.
  • Physical Demands: The Maintenance Technician must be able to safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance, safely move large appliances, and safely use hand tools.
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The Maintenance Technician must be able to safely access all areas of the property's grounds, regardless of grounds conditions and/or weather conditions, including multilevel structures, with or without the aid of an elevator.
