Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Marshwood Center in Kennebunk, ME. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight to our Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to our Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care services
  • Work closely with the Center Medical Director to improve the quality of care in the facility
  • Develop and implement clinical programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Center Administrator and Director of Nursing to achieve the highest levels of Center performance in quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to clinical care
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to clinical care
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. required
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification
  • Geriatrics specialization is desirable
  • Certified Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA is desirable
