About the Role

CASA Inc is seeking a highly motivated and organized Voter Engagement Coordinator to join our team in Lancaster, PA. As a key member of our Elections Department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing voter engagement strategies to build long-term electoral power in working-class communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Voter Engagement
    • Lead the implementation of daily ground operation work for assigned canvass teams
    • Meet with the Pennsylvania Voter Engagement Manager daily to discuss ground operation plans and provide constructive feedback
    • Lead canvass launches and debrief meetings with assigned canvass teams to disseminate daily goals and program updates
    • Engage voters daily to persuade and mobilize them to vote by/or on Election Day
    • Share important voting information effectively
    • Collect photo and video content while engaging with voters and share with Communications staff
    • Enter and report conversation data accurately and on time
    • Stay well-informed of the latest electoral news and campaign talking points
  • Team Supervision
    • Lead teams in meeting daily program metrics and team-building goals through coaching and providing constructive feedback
    • Assign teams the necessary canvassing equipment and supplies needed to complete their daily work
    • Monitor on-field progress toward goals, including knock and conversation rates
    • Track each canvasser's hours worked and report them in the timesheet
    • Respond to all on-field emergency and non-emergency incidents and report immediately to the Pennsylvania Voter Engagement Manager
  • Additional Tasks
    • Assist the Pennsylvania Voter Engagement Manager with canvasser recruitment and conduct pre-screen interviews with recruits
    • Report low equipment and supply inventory to the Pennsylvania Voter Engagement Manager
Requirements
  • Ability to perform all duties outlined above
  • Valid US Driver's License and own car required
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience working with immigrant or low-income communities a plus
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Self-motivated with a track record of displaying leadership and building team morale
  • Exude high energy in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets a plus
  • Attention to detail to ensure all work is polished, accurate, and precise
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred
  • Commitment to social change and to furthering CASA Inc's mission
