Senior Engineering Program Manager, GPU Acceleration

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the development of GPU-accelerated machine learning solutions across Apple's product ecosystem. The successful candidate will have experience in supporting machine learning accelerated by GPU technology and be able to participate in leading multi-functional teams to develop and deploy GPU-accelerated ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead planning, execution, and communication between several engineering groups at Apple.
- Help define and run processes that ensure GPU and Display deliverables for products are met.
- Collaborate with AIML researchers, software engineers, and GPU experts to define, scope, and implement machine learning initiatives.
- Maintain clear communication and documentation on the program's status, including risks, schedules, and resources.
- Foster a culture of innovation, leading teams to develop cutting-edge technology and setting the strategic direction for AI/ML projects at Apple.
- Proven experience in EPM roles, ideally within the AI/ML space or software development sectors, driving cross-functional product development.
- Familiarity with GPU architectures and their application in machine learning workloads, particularly model training and inference.
- Familiarity with GPU programming languages for accelerating ML algorithms (Metal, CUDA, PyTorch, etc).
- Strong technical background, capable of working closely with engineering teams to manage software/hardware integration, performance, and scalability.
- BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing complex cross-team projects and delivering successful results.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and evolving requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with a ML research team.
- Experience with cloud-based AI solutions, parallel processing, and scalable architectures.
