Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate construction projects
- Oversee the client's construction site and ensure a high level of quality and safety
- Review and approve Safe Work Permits
- Hold daily safety briefings and coordinate site activities with the Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent
- Ensure that projects are constructed and documented in accordance with contract documents and good engineering practices
- Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues
- Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
- Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process
- Maintain and update SOW and construction documents
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
- Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities/agencies
- Conduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up Checklists
- Reports the status of projects to Management
- Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
- Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods
- 5+ years of industrial construction experience required. Oil and Gas experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)
- Education, Experience, Requirements:
- Construction Safety Practices and OSHA regulations (30 Hour OSHA Training)
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or related field
