Job Title: Frac Equipment Tester

At United Engines, we are seeking a skilled Frac Equipment Tester to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and testing a variety of pressure oil & gas pumping units, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and test a range of equipment with different control systems, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Read and understand technical drawings and work instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of equipment testing and inspection processes.
  • Conduct thorough unit inspections and complete reports, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of hydraulic, power end, engine, transmission, and radiator systems to provide expert support.
  • Adhere to our safety culture, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level.
  • Capacity to exert pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels) frequently.
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Must be able to crawl and work in narrow spaces.
  • Requires frequent repetitive movements, such as hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers, and impact tools.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
  • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Exposed to cold, heat, noise, mechanical/electrical fumes, or odors.
  • May be required to work more than 8 hours on one shift occasionally.
  • May be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off the ground.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and motor vehicles as required.
