Job Title: Corporate Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Pastry Chef to lead our pastry programs and oversee our standalone bakery concept. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving high performance and commitment from our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily operations of the bakery, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality products.
  • Create and guide pastry programs for all venues, staying up-to-date on food trends and dietary restriction needs.
  • Prepare pastries, desserts, confections, and more on a daily basis, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating our coaching culture and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Partner with FOH to ensure operational and service expectations are defined and delivered, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Champion and adhere to all Company standards and policies, ensuring compliance and excellence in all aspects of the business.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of Pastry Management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • 2 years of Bakery or Hotel/Resort Production experience, with expertise in cake building, viennoiserie & ptisserie.
  • Certificate in culinary arts preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of baking techniques, with the ability to accurately calculate P&L and implement spending changes.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superb organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
