Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direction of the IT manager to lead multifunctional teams, vendors, and end users on small to large complexity projects.
  • Provide project costs, design concepts, or changes, and evaluate current or emerging technologies to make recommendations and implement solutions.
  • Assist in the development of changes and modifications of procedures regarding the configuration of vital computing equipment, and participate in audits to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and environment security.
  • Collaborate with engineers, system administrators, software developers, users, and management to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
  • Enforce, monitor, and remedy security to meet PCI/DSS, Privacy, and HIPAA requirements, and use and set standards for secure protocols like SSH, HTTP, and SSL.
  • Configure and define parameters for the installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), switches, routers, firewalls, servers, virtualization technology, and related network equipment.
  • Perform installation and maintenance of all network servers, supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all desktop, laptop, and notebook computers, and ensure all patches, firmware, and regular preventive maintenance is performed routinely.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree.
  • 4-6 years of related work experience.
  • TCP/IP, routing protocols, layer 2 and layer 3 devices, etc.
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, or other IT certification preferred.
