About the Role

Community Impact Newspaper is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, identifying their advertising needs, and developing customized solutions to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing relationships
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to showcase the value of our advertising products
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to create targeted advertising solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide ongoing support to ensure their advertising goals are met
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our sales strategies remain effective
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary of $40,000 annually, plus monthly bonuses and uncapped commission
  • A minimum $1,500 guaranteed monthly commission for the first 12 months
  • A $295 monthly stipend for gas, mileage, and tolls
  • Up to 80 hours of vacation and 80 hours of personal/sick time (prorated) in the first year
  • 10 paid holidays per year, plus a paid day off for your birthday

Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) setting
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
