About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director 3, Facilities Operations-Plant Operations and Maintenance Director to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, repairs, and minor construction for an acute care community hospital in the San Diego, CA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and medical regulations at the location.
  2. Manage activities concerning technical development and scheduling.
  3. Establish and manage budgets and productivity targets.
  4. Ensure maintenance of physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utility systems, and grounds are in operative and safe working condition at all times.
  5. Responsible for constant state of readiness to comply with TJC, EOC, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness survey inspections, preparation, and document requirements.
  6. Ensure that the health system is in compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
  7. Work directly with Senior Leadership to develop and implement plans for the hospital's facilities vision and growth.

Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience: 5 years

Basic Functional Experience: 5 years
