Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual budgets, revenue goals, and expense plans for the golf operations department.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and non-financial reporting to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain sound organizational plans and initiatives to improve departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to maximize total property revenue and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead the hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of golf operations staff.
  • Ensure exceptional member service and promote a positive member experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of golf facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and execute golf marketing and membership plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and policies related to quality of products and services.
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of the PGA of America or LPGA of America.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Successful completion of a recognized Golf Management/Operations program.
  • Director of Golf experience in a Four/Diamond Resort preferred.
  • Experience with a diversity of golf course operations, including resort and semi-private courses.
  • Thorough understanding of the Golf Retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for guest service and exceeding expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to run, stand, and walk for the duration of a golf round.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
