About the Role

Kentucky Educational Television (KET) is seeking a highly skilled Image Coordinator to join our team at our Lexington, Kentucky Network Center. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you will play a critical role in creating and managing visual content for our broadcast and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality photographs of productions, projects, and events, and maintain a comprehensive still photographic database and archive.
  • Produce and edit promotional video segments for broadcast and digital platforms, showcasing the work of KET and its partners.
  • Coordinate the hiring and scheduling of contract photographers as needed, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of visual content.
  • Assist the On-Air Promotion department in planning, designing, and executing institutional, marketing, education, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Participate in and support the planning, design, coordination, and execution of broader marketing division functions, including events and promotions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as photography, film, or communications, and a minimum of three years of professional experience in photography and video production.
  • Excellent photography and imaging skills, including experience with Adobe Creative apps.
  • Demonstrated experience with video producing and editing, including use of AVID or Adobe Premiere.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build cross-departmental consensus and work effectively with a team.
