Radiography Instructor

Provide clinical instruction for first- and second-year radiography students in a hospital and/or clinical setting. The successful candidate will work with the clinical coordinator to ensure that hospital guidelines are followed and requirements for student clinical instruction are met prior to each clinical rotation.

• Provide students with an example of how specific imaging exams are to be performed according to hospital protocol.
• Assign students daily workloads that will provide opportunities to obtain the necessary clinical experience and completion of check-offs found in Trajecsys, the software used to track student lab/clinical performance as they progress through the program.
• Be available to aid students when difficulties and/or questions arise in providing care.
• Provide students feedback on their performance in a timely manner.
• Provide students an enriched learning environment.
• Verify and document student activities using Trajecsys.
• Evaluation/grading of student progress.
• Communicate any student/clinical issues with Program or Clinical Coordinator.
• Maintain confidentiality with student records and performance.

• Current AART license.
• 2-years experience in clinical area.
• Approval to provide clinical instruction at host institution.
