We are seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer Manager to lead our controls teams and drive efficiencies in our manufacturing plant. As a key member of our Plant Engineering team, you will be responsible for reviewing controls designs, supervising a team of engineers, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage controls support efforts for equipment downtime conditions.
- Implement designs and processes to increase equipment reliability.
- Manage company controls and instrumentation architecture future projects.
- Evaluate needs and implement a controls obsolescence replacement plan.
- Develop standardization for documentation of digital control systems.
- Provide onsite coordination of maintenance personnel, plant engineering, and outside contractors.
- Supervise staff engineers in Plant Engineering in the controls disciplines for project development, budget preparation, and project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of controls-focused industrial or manufacturing experience.
- At least 3 years of formal leadership experience.
