Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and efficient Production & General Assistant to support our e-commerce operations. This role will involve picking, assembling, and packing orders, as well as assisting with various tasks such as website maintenance, customer communication, and vendor management. If you're a team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you

Responsibilities
  • Order Production: Ensure accurate printing and inspection of orders, and assemble products with precision.
  • Order Packaging and Fulfillment: Pack and ship orders efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Website Maintenance: Update listings, content, and images on our website to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, provide support, and gather feedback to improve our services.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and manage vendors, such as photographers, to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Research and Development: Explore new product ideas and opportunities to expand our offerings.
  • Content Creation: Capture high-quality product images and apply light editing for our website and social media channels.
  • Social Media Management: Maintain our social media presence across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Office and Production Area Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Book-keeping: Assist with financial tasks, including tracking expenses and managing inventory.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 0-4 years in a studio, production, manufacturing, or e-commerce environment.
  • Availability: Available for approximately 20+ hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in online and desktop software applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Etsy, Shopify, and ShipStation.
  • Chicago-land Residents Only: We're looking for candidates based in the Chicago area.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and process-oriented, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Team Player: A good sense of humor and a team attitude are essential for success in this role.
