Job Overview

This is a full-time position at our corporate office. As an Admissions Coordinator, you'll work closely with clients, families, providers, and internal staff to ensure timely access to care.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and work the duration of their scheduled shifts. Coordinators must also be willing to work outside of business hours when needed.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, communicating seamlessly with clients, referrals, and other internal staff.
  • Develop exemplary interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, referrals, and other internal staff.
  • Work as an active team member at all times, demonstrating a willingness to learn and problem-solve from a solution-based perspective.
  • Speak clearly, concisely, and with passion about DBH service offerings.
  • Make daily contact and prompt follow-up with all active cases.
  • Demonstrate active listening skills and convey authentic empathy and compassion through words and tone of voice.
  • Effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of the program.
  • Manage and prioritize daily work within acceptable departmental time frames.
  • Maintain impeccable documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years or more of experience working in an admissions-related environment preferred.
  • Previous experience working in the treatment field preferred.
  • Computer competence, including Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $24-$30 per hour, depending on geographic region, education, and experience.
