Position Overview: As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. This position involves hands-on care with a focus on daily living needs and personal hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the health status of individuals and ensure the delivery of quality services.
  • Assist and supervise individuals in daily living activities, personal care, and community integration.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals.
  • Initiate emergency protocols when necessary.
  • Utilize equipment safely and correctly.
  • Report any hazardous conditions or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Keep accurate progress notes and documentation.
  • Support resident activity programs, including outings and appointments.
  • Assist with household tasks as needed.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and treat all individuals with dignity and respect.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Completion of a CNA certificate program; current CNA certification is required.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as a CNA, particularly with medically complex patients.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, residents, and families.
  • A reliable and compassionate approach to care.
