Position Responsibilities

Accountable for assisting residents with fundamental personal hygiene and daily living activities tailored to their individual needs. Responsible for delivering comprehensive care that addresses the social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily hygiene care for residents is performed effectively.
  • Understand and respect residents' preferences to customize the care provided.
  • Maintain accurate records and promptly report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and risk management protocols.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding the status and condition of residents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Compensation: $25.56 per hour

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • 3 to 6 months of experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • This position involves medium to heavy physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally and over 45 pounds repeatedly.
  • Requires constant standing and walking, with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases is expected.
  • Frequent interruptions are part of the role.
  • Regular interaction with residents, family members, and visitors is required.
