Position Overview
This role is pivotal in driving product development initiatives within the Nutrition Meals & Drinks sector. The individual will actively engage in the qualification and integration of new ingredients, execute technical line trials, and offer innovative solutions. Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is essential to enhance the baby meals and drinks product line, facilitating the introduction of new offerings and improvements to existing products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding and qualification of new ingredients essential for the Meals and Drinks product line, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Act as a primary support resource for internal and external manufacturing sites, providing coaching and technical guidance to enhance product mastery.
  • Lead the introduction of new products and processes, collaborating with diverse project teams across R&D, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to successfully launch innovative projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing products and processes, managing timelines and addressing challenges to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality and regulatory standards, adhering to Nestle's requirements and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement training materials to enhance product and process expertise within the team, supporting operational excellence.
  • Commit to personal and team development through ongoing coaching and mentorship.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in product development.
  • Preferred experience in food quality or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with aseptic, retort, and hot fill technologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with fruit and vegetable raw materials is preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient project management capabilities, with a focus on effective team collaboration.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Additional Information
  • This position requires approximately 25% travel.
  • This role is not eligible for remote work.
