About the Role

Acumen is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our fiscal agent solutions team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for empowering Acumen to achieve its mission of facilitating freedom, choice, and opportunity through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Acumen to all stakeholders within your assigned territory, building strong relationships with state partners, local program staff, and clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing programs and forge new business opportunities to enable Acumen to serve more families.
  • Develop strategies to support the growth of existing and new programs through marketing, education, and community outreach.
  • Act as liaison between the funding entity and Acumen, communicating opportunities and issues that may impact clients or the company.
  • Supervise a staff, including interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, and providing performance evaluations.
  • Understand and stay up-to-date on program rules, regulations, and implementation needs, effectively communicating and explaining them to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Acumen publicly at events, actively marketing services to the general public.
  • Report program statistics and information to key stakeholders through survey results and regular reporting.
  • Provide one-on-one and group training and support to enrolling employers, employees, and contract partners.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, weeknights, and holidays, and travel as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in organizational management related to self-directed services.
  • Prior experience managing and supervising team members.
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
