Position Overview:
The International Patient Services Coordinator is a vital component of the Cedars-Sinai International care team, dedicated to addressing the customer service needs of our international patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a seamless process while promoting exceptional levels of patient and customer satisfaction.
- Assist international patients and families in navigating non-medical resources within the medical center and the surrounding community.
- Analyze patient and family needs effectively, organizing and arranging resources to respond to inquiries.
- Handle all customer interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever feasible.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries related to services, operational hours, key personnel, and directions.
- Respond to all customer requests accurately and promptly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Patient Engagement:
- Administer patient and family surveys to gather feedback.
- Prepare and send welcome packets containing information about Cedars-Sinai, local attractions, and community resources to all patients.

Concierge Services:
- Triage incoming inquiries, providing coverage for the patient lounge and telephone.
- Greet patients and their families upon arrival.
- Maintain a daily log of lounge visitors and services provided, including parking validations.

Operational Duties:
- Perform concierge services such as arranging hotel accommodations, transportation, and preparing documents for visa extensions.
- Keep the lounge clean and organized, including coffee service, and manage the inventory of lounge supplies.
- Submit work orders as needed and follow up on requests.

Collaboration and Confidentiality:
- Manage collaborative spaces in the lounge to ensure efficient use and excellent customer service.
- Develop a network of contacts and resources to accommodate diverse requests from CSI and VIP customers.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with Cedars-Sinai policies and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-level customer service or hospitality, with a focus on resolving complex issues.
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
