Job Summary:

The Medical Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Unit. This individual will work closely with the healthcare team to provide exceptional care to patients, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
