Position: Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Mission Regional Medical Center is a leading not-for-profit healthcare facility that provides a wide range of services including emergency care, surgery, cardiology, and critical care. As a Registered Nurse in our Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assessing and managing complex medical conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the critical care setting.
  • Evaluate and monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
  • Wound care knowledge and experience are advantageous.
  • Wound Care Certification is required within the first year of employment.
  • Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification is preferred.
