Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Mission Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
