About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Administrator to join General Dynamics. As a Security Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and coordinating the DoD security program and other related security activities for an office or group to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with internal General Dynamics security organization and relevant government security personnel
  • Administer and coordinate the DoD security program and other related security activities
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding security regulations and procedures
  • Participate in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and company management
  • Conduct security briefings and develop security-related training programs
  • Investigate security violations and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain liaison with outside agencies and assist employees in acquiring security clearance
  • Manage physical security for a 95,000+ square foot industrial facility
  • Support classified information systems and participate in special projects as requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline
  • Minimum of two years related experience in facility or industrial security administration
  • Competency in using automated systems and building relevant reports
  • Must have DISS and NISS
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliant with a minimum certification of Security +; CISSP, CAP, CISA, CEH, CISM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience in facility or industrial security administration
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliant with a minimum certification of Security +; CISSP, CAP, CISA, CEH, CISM
